Plan the week around the drive
Let Boetbook suggest who does which job, on which day and in which order, so your team spends less time in traffic and fits more jobs in. Max plan.
The Week planner is on the Max plan. It looks at the week’s jobs and suggests a better order: who goes where, on which day, and when. You stay in charge. Nothing changes until you tap Apply on a job.
1. Tell it how your week works
Open Week planner (under More on a phone) and tap Hours & breaks. For each person on the road, set their start and finish times, the days they work, and where they start from. To set the start point, paste a Google Maps link or tap the target button while you’re standing there. Then add lunch or any blocked time, and set the buffer between jobs.
2. Say how long jobs take, and which times are promised
When you book a job, fill in Takes (minutes). If you leave it empty, the planner uses the service’s usual duration. Tick Time confirmed with client if you have promised that time. A confirmed job never moves. The planner can move every other job, including jobs that aren’t booked yet.
3. Read the plan
At the top you see the week’s driving as booked compared with as planned, and how many more jobs fit. A phone shows one day at a time, with Leave by and the drive time to each job. Tap Directions to open the day’s route in Google Maps. On a computer you see the whole week, one row per person.
4. Apply what you like
Each suggested change shows where the job was before. Tap Apply to move that job. Skip the ones you don’t want.
5. Use the suggestions
- Ask to move. Sometimes a confirmed booking is the expensive one, like a Muizenberg job on a Pinelands plumber’s Thursday. The planner tells you how much driving you would save and has a WhatsApp message ready to ask the client. If they agree, tap They agreed.
- Fill the gaps. Some customers are due a regular service, such as a yearly filter change, and live near where someone is already working that day. Message them or Add to plan in one tap. The message includes a line saying they can reply STOP to opt out.
Drive times are estimates worked out from distance. Your clients’ addresses are never sent to a mapping service. Any job without a map pin is listed under Not in the plan: paste a Google Maps link to add the pin.
